TAXI: JOURNEY THROUGH MY WINDOWS

A Cab Driver’s Visual Memoir

I collaborated with acclaimed documentary photographer Joseph Rodriguez on the his visual memoir of work as a cab driver in early 1980s New York City. Taxi is designed as a cinematic tour through the city from the driver’s seat of a yellow cab. It has been featured by The New York Times and Vanity Fair, and Print Mag’s The Daily Heller published an interview with myself and the author discussing our collaboration.

I also produced and directed a trailer video to support book sales.

Role: Book design, video production and direction

To tell the story of Taxi, I produced, shot, and edited a short promo video featuring the author discussing the work in his studio.
