Pivoting to the Future of Media

Founded by Clay Felker and Milton Glaser in 1968, New York is an iconic print magazine that made a seamless transition into a multi-platform media powerhouse. My team was responsible for telling the brands' story to business and consumer audiences through advertising, websites, sizzle reels, print pieces and promotional campaigns. We translated the editorial voice of New York and its digital verticals, including Vulture and The Cut, into compelling communications that built audiences and drove revenue.

To communicate the offerings and value of New York’s media properties to an advertiser audience, my team and I built and maintained a media kit microsite.

CUTTING EDGE FASHION

To communicate the value of fashion coverage in New York, and on The Cut, my team and I designed presentations and printed sell pieces combining the allure of avant garde fashion photography with solid business and audience data.

THE NEW YORK MULTIVERSE

A multi-brand sizzle reel showing relationships between editorial verticals and platforms. I wrote and storyboarded the animation and worked with an animator to execute it.

My team and I designed in-book advertising for New York and it’s digital verticals. These ads announced product launches, digital upgrades and important editorial packages to a consumer audience.
