I started my creative journey as a graffiti writer—which taught me a lot about typography and "branding" ;)>. I carried the lessons of that formative experience with me throughout my career: perfecting the craft, having style, and breaking the rules.

An inauguration. A numeric pallendrome. A new beginning.
2021: A Light at the End of the Tunnel
As 2020—a very dark year—drew to a close, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. A new—hopefully more competent and less corrupt—Presidential administration and widespread rollout of Covid vaccines in 2021 give me hope that we will collectively put this mess behind ourselves.

After witnessing the insanity that was the first presidential debate earlier this week, I did the most designer-like thing possible: I made an unsolicited, uncommissioned, and unecessary video spot for the Biden-Harris campaign. While I’m not usually the biggest fan of this kind of thing, where designers make posters or whatever to talk about something—rather than doing something that would actually help the cause, like phone banking—it was damn cathartic.
